Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you meeting?

We meet on Sundays at 9am at 38 Hutchinson Street, Mount Barker in the Mount Barker Presbyterian Church Building.
The Grace Hills Church A-Frame signs will point you to Shoebridge Lane, where you enter the building from the rear.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of parking both on Hutchinson Street and behind the church building off Shoebridge Lane.

What is the church about?

We are about Jesus. We worship Him and meet around His word each week and seek to be devoted to Jesus in all of our lives. We believe that just as Jesus gave His life for us, that we are called to give our lives for Him.

What denomination are you?

We are part of the Christian Community Churches of Australia as our denomination, and hold orthodox, evangelical and generally reformed theological beliefs. We hold to the historic and Biblical teachings of the church held since the first century, maintained in the creeds and renewed in the 16th century reformation. For further information see the About page.

Do I have to be religious to attend?

People of all backgrounds are welcome. We believe the message about Jesus and His life, death and resurrection is for all people, regardless of their history and background.

Is there a dress code?

No. Just come as you are. Most people dress in a relaxed, casual way you might attend a cafe or pub.

How do I learn more?

Our pastoral team regularly catch up with people in the community to discuss matters of faith and life. Use the contact page for more information.
